Dr. Jurado is an interventional cardiologist with recognized experience in complex percutaneous coronary interventions, mainly chronic total occlusions, and severely calcified lesions. He is an international proctor of these procedures and all the plaque modification techniques. He is interested in intracoronary imaging and physiologic techniques and participates in mitral and tricuspid valve interventions, left atrial appendage closure procedures, and alcohol septal ablation. Finally, his other areas of interest are the percutaneous treatment of pulmonary embolism, cardiogenic shock, and acute coronary syndromes. He is also actively involved in educational activities and research, leading several studies in the field.
